The Power of Surrender
SURRENDER IS THE most powerful decision you make. It is also the most fulfilling, the answer to everything in your life. Surrender to your Higher Power, not to any human.
“When you fully ‘get it’ that you are one with your Source, which is your only Source of supply, and that supply is unlimited, including the answers to all of your questions, then all you have to do is align your will with the One Supplier of All so that you ‘allow’ that unlimitedness to flow through you—the complete healing of Oneness.” ~ Jesus. At this highest level of awareness is when you surrender all hindrances holding you back and choose “Not my will, but Thine be done.”
Surrendering doesn’t mean your individuality dissolves into bland non-existence. To the contrary. It allows your individuality to expand into all of the splendor it truly is if you would but let go of all the painful, inefficient baggage that is veiling the truth of who you are—God’s love in action.
‘Surrender’ results in ‘bliss’, which is a feeling many expressed in near-death-experiences after leaving the physical. ‘Surrendering now’ means you can experience bliss right here, right now, while still on this earthly plane.
Surrender is letting go of what isn’t the truth—the illusion of separation.
Surrender is trading the delusion of illusion for the Reality of Truth. Surrender means surrendering, or letting go of what you are not—the small self imprisoned within the belittling confines of ego—and choosing, instead, to live the expansive truth of who you already are right now and always—one with the Power of the Universe. It means realigning with your true Eternal Source. You surrender your small-self ego and allow the ‘no separation’ of all love, all answers, all solutions, through Pure Intelligence and Pure Love, to flood into you with unlimited abundance and bliss.
Hesitancy and doubt about surrendering comes from being in your head and not your heart.
The head: Being in control. A tendency to over-analyze, wanting to know the how and all of the details leading up to and through the shift, and what is the end result on the other side of the shift, hesitant to move forward until you have it all worked out. And yes, your mind is part of the Great Mind, but if you allow your head to take over without balance, you are continually in the ‘over-analyzing mode’ instead of the ‘faith and trust mode’. You might not be listening to the Great Mind because yours is too busy whirling like leaves in a storm.
The heart: You trust from your heart. The heart is your inner urgings, feelings, intuitions, and knowing that moving forward is the right direction even though you don’t know how or have tangible proof. Faith tugs at your heart assuring you that you are being guided in the right direction. Trust is your commitment by taking that first step in the right direction, knowing your Spiritual Guides support you with the how and when. An unexpected benefit of choosing from the heart, is peace.
Logic: The Divine is Love. The Divine only creates from Love. That truth means you have nothing to fear. You might not know the how—that is where trust comes into it—but if your heart is pulling you in a new direction, then listen to your heart. The message is from the Great Love, which can only result in your Good.
Surrender is love—love for yourself and God— letting go of everything else and trusting in your Source that is the Greatest and Wisest Power in the Universe.
SURRENDER is LOVE. SURRENDER is POWER.
Meaning: Surrender is choosing to enjoy the most meaningful life available to you by turning your life over to the Creator of Life. The One that knows all from the God-Perspective. The One that knows what is the most fulfilling for you.
Surrender isn’t anything to fear, but to embrace. You have nothing to lose, and everything to gain.
GIVE YOUR LIFE TO GOD.

This really spoke to me and has been a question that has been on my mind. I fear that my heart is dead or cold. I’m always in my head. Thank you truthlover5 for the post.

I’m glad the post on The Power of SurrenderThe Power of SurrenderThe Power of Surrender has meaning for you. You are definitely not alone in always being in your head – a widespread malady. It can also negatively affect our lives when not balanced with the heart.
Actually, we have it backwards. The heart is meant to be our driving force where the God-seeds are planted, the urgings. The head is merely the tool of the heart to carry out the heart’s desires. The head’s purpose is for survival, so it is filled with all of the what-if fears that hold us back. The heart is what urges us forward into the unknown, trusting that if those urgings are God-directed, then we cannot fail as long as we stay one with God in surrender, the ultimate joy.
Your heart is neither cold nor dead. Your heart urgings are encouraging you to question. The ice frozen around your heart from fear is starting to melt. The more you allow it to melt, the more wonder will appear in your life.
It all takes faith. You are not intended to do this alone. Trying to do it alone means you believe in the lie of separation from your Source. In truth there is no separation, just our fears that make it seem that way.
The truth is that you are never alone. You are always loved. You are loved unconditionally, without judgment, which means you are loved anyway.

Surrender is not to fear, but to embrace. Surrender is the truth of how we are to live always. Any other way means we are mentally separating ourselves from the God who created us. True separation is impossible.
Surrender is like going home.
I’ve learned that Surrender is more than releasing, it is, in reality, receiving. We have to release the fears and blockages, and then surrender to the Ultimate Force in order to make room to receive all of the fabulous love, abundance and wisdom available to us.
Don’t let fear keep you from the magnificence your life is meant to be. Surrender. All you have to do is open up a conversation with Jesus/God, whichever you choose, and say you want to surrender but that you need help. Feel free to confess your fears, or your not understanding how it works. Open your heart and let it all flow out.
Remember, God loves you now and always. God is only waiting for you to ask.
